Originally established in Australia in 1932.
Early 1950's : Obtained American technical agreements to manufacture translucent fibreglass roofing using a manual moulding process.
Late 1950's : Alsynite was the first company in the Southern Hemisphere to commission a fully automated fibreglass roofing line.
Late 1980's : The company commissioned a state of the art, double width fibreglass roofing line.
Early 1990's : Alsynite entered into a joint venture agreement to manufacture and market a comprehensive range of industrial and domestic roof ventilators.
1994 : Alsynite relocated to a purpose built, high tech production facility, which coincided with a comprehensive technology upgrade of all manufacturing equipment.
1998 : Alsynite was acquired by Mulford International Pte Ltd. which assisted in the development of global network and presence.
2000 : The 2nd manufacturing plant was set up in Shanghai, China
2004 : Alsynite Australia is ISO certified and wins contract to supply BHP/BlueScope Steel.
2007 : The 3rd manufacturing plant was set up in Cikarang, Indonesia.
2008 : Alsynite established a joint venture with Citadel Architectural and built its 4th manufacturing plant in Mumbai, India.
2009 : Alsynite ceases its manufacturing operations in Australia and moved its focus to manufacturing fibreglass sheeting products in ASIA.
Today the company is focused on developing a global presence, with offshore manufacturing, distribution and a continuing commitment to research and development.
